Abandoned warehouse historic tax credit rehabilitation.

No project is too big, too small, or too far gone.

Ask About Tax Credits

The Carpenter Steel Company warehouse was constructed in 1951 in what is now known as the Stewart Avenue Industrial Historic District. The warehouse exhibits characteristics in its architecture and history that align with the development of early to mid twentieth century industrial growth in Atlanta, Georgia.

Prior to a rehabilitation project that began in 2023, the brick warehouse sat abandoned for many years. Graffiti and vegetation covered the exterior, and the interior was exposed to the elements due to a collapsed roof. From 2023 through 2024, an impressive project reworked the building and placed it back into service.

The project required full roof replacement, structural work to secure walls, and the replacement of doors and windows. This successful tax credit project is a testament to the state and federal level programs that make a wide variety of rehabilitation campaigns possible.
