We are working with the Atlanta Preservation Center, Atlanta City Council Member Jason Winston, and South-View Cemetery to list the cemetery on the National Register of Historic Places as an important part of Atlanta’s African-American history. One of the earliest African American stockholder corporations in the state, South-View Cemetery continues to serve as a resting place for prominent Atlantans.
